The National Defence Academy (NDA) admits students to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings through an entrance examination held twice a year, Generally National Defence Academy (NDA) Exams is conducted by The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) in the months of April and November twice a year as per latest updates.

Through the National Defence Academy Entrance Exam, the National Defence Academy (NDA) recruits individuals into its Army, Navy, and Air Force wings NDA Coaching in Jaipur. A candidate must be an unmarried male. The candidates those who enroll at the Indian Naval Academy will complete a four-year B. Tech. programme and may be eligible to join the Navy’s executive and technical branches, pending openings.

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY

The National Defence Academy (NDA) admits students to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings through an entrance examination held twice a year, generally in the months of April and November (as per the latest change, earlier it was September). This examination is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

NDA Eligibility- Age Limit

NDA I Age Limit – 

Only unmarried male and female candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 2005 and not later than 1st July 2008 fulfil the eligibility for the NDA exam.

NDA II Age Limit –

 Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 2005 and not later than 1st January 2008 are eligible for the NDA exam.

NDA Age Limit for Girls

According to the official NDA 2 2024 notification, which was published on May 18, 2024, both male and female applicants who are single and were born between January 2, 2006, and January 1, 2009, are eligible to sit for the exam

Age and marital status:

A candidate must be an unmarried male not below 16½ years and above 19½ years on the first day of the month in which the course is commencing

 

Educational Qualifications:

  • For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: Must have successfully completed Class XII in the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a State education board or a university.
  • For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and Naval Academy:Must have passed Class 12 of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State education board or a university. Candidates currently in Class XII in the 10 + 2 pattern of school education, or equivalent examination, can also apply.
  • Note: Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

(ii) SSB Interview
